Dr Jacob Jamesraj is a cardiac surgeon from India with special interest in simulator based teaching, beating heart surgery and valve repairs. He trained at the famed Sree Chitra Institute and in Sydney, Australia. He has conducted wet lab courses in Malaysia, India, Srilanka and Nepal. His Cardiac Morphology Course is popular with cardiac surgical trainees from around the globe and therein he uses innovative aids to simplify complex anatomical concepts for easy understanding. A poet, painter and photographer he uses these three Ps to relax alongside astronomy and the stars. He practices at the Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai.
