Biography:
Dr. Srivastava is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering followed by graduate medical education at the University of Virginia. After medical training at Yale-New Haven Hospital, she pursued Fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Her clinical expertise is in complex percutaneous coronary intervention, intravascular imaging, mechanical circulatory support and left atrial appendage occlusion. She also is passionate about medical education and is Director of the Fellowship training in cardiovascular disease.
