In brackets the cases as independent surgeon

As a Consultant thoracic surgeon I performed 130 cases, from which 55 lobectomies (49 VATS), 4 VATS segmentectomies, pleural biopsies, pneumothorax surgeries, tracheal stent insertions (3) and endotracheal debulking of lipoma, evacuation of empyema and decortications (VATS and open).

Been trained and performed LASER for airway management.

In LTH (St James) I had a particular interest and training on airway management, navigational bronchoscopy and minimal invasive surgery including robotic and VATS surgery. Also I performed, predominantly independently thoracic trauma procedures including rib fixation, sternal reconstruction. I completed my online training for robotic surgery and all practical tests (hours).

In JCUH I was introduced and performed micro-lobectomies, pectus repairs, radio-guided pulmonary nodules resection and robotic thoracic surgery. As a member of stuff in Royal Brompton Hospital I was exposed to minimal invasive techniques thoracic surgery (VATS lobectomy), bronchoscopy, mediastinoscopy, LASER metastasectomy.
