Aisha Oluwabunmi Ajala

Biography:

Dr. Aisha Ajala is a clinical cardiologist who completed her residency training in 2019 and obtained a fellowship in Cardiology with the West African College of Physicians and National Post-graduate Medical College of Nigeria. She did a 6-months geriatric rotation in one of the pioneer geriatric centers in Nigeria. She currently works as a general cardiologist with a keen interest in Geriatric cardiology and clinical research in the University of Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital. She is an early career cardiologist and has published 6 research articles and currently a site-investigator for two National multi-center research. She has a passion for teaching and impacting knowledge in younger colleagues and in caring for the elderly patients.
